Qadisha Valley
Qadisha valley, also known as the Holy valley, as it is home of plenty of monasteries, Wadi Qannoubine is famous as the largest and most beautiful valley in Lebanon and it is a Unesco listed world heritage site.
Bcharre
Bcharre is the town of the only remaining and preserved original Cedars of God, and is the birthplace of the famous poet, painter and sculptor Khalil Gibran who now has a museum in the town to honour him.

The Cedars of God forest is the most famous cedar forest in Lebanon and its reserves include the oldest trees, some of which are hundreds of years old. The ancient Phoenicians used Lebanese cedar wood to build houses and ships.
